Back of the Yards Team Wins First National Spanish-Language Championship

Back of the Yards College Prep’s Wendy Depaz and Angel Tierrablanca became the first team to win the National Association for Urban Debate Leagues’ national championship in the Spanish-language division! This is a historic win for Back of the Yards, Chicago Debates, and the City of Chicago—the team even made the front page of The Chicago Tribune!
