Anthony Bolden is a dynamic nonprofit leader with a proven track record in program expansion, fundraising, and organizational strategy. As the Executive Director of Chicago Debates, he has spearheaded initiatives that have increased student participation, strengthened community partnerships, and secured six-figure multi-year grants to sustain and grow programming.

Under his leadership, Chicago Debates was honored with the 2024 Advancing Equity Award from the National Speech and Debate Association for its commitment to expanding access to debate. His impact has been further recognized with a 40 Game Changers Under 40 award from WVON 1690 AM and Ariel Investments, celebrating his transformative leadership in the nonprofit sector.

With previous leadership roles in nonprofit programming and a strong foundation in fundraising and operations, Anthony brings strategic vision and a deep commitment to equity-driven work. He is also an alum of the Chicago Urban League’s IMPACT Fellowship and holds a Nonprofit Management Certificate from North Park University, reinforcing his expertise in guiding mission-driven organizations toward sustainable growth.
