Student Day of Action with ACT Now Illinois

Students from our Speech & Advocacy program, along with select members of our Debate Leadership Council, will travel to Springfield on April 30 to participate in the Day of Action with ACT Now Illinois. Throughout the day, students will meet with elected officials to share their stories and advocate for the importance of after-school programming — especially programs like speech and debate that empower young people to find their voice, build critical skills, and lead change in their communities.
