Chris Gentry

Chris Gentry is a Program Manager at Chicago Debates, where he works with coaches and staff to ensure Chicago students have access to high-quality debate experiences. He oversees tournaments and develops programming that maximizes student learning and engagement. Chris is a U.S. Army veteran with a background in political organizing, having worked on both state and national campaigns. He leverages his expertise in public speaking, organizing, and strategic planning to create a debate league that prioritizes student success.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Appalachian State University, where he competed at the national level in Parliamentary Debate.
